AVA-02 Digital Quartz Transducer Tester PC-Interface

The Avanti AVA-03 Digital Quartzdyne Tester & PC Interface communicates with up to 4 Digital Quartzdyne Transducers simultaneously and displays pressure and temperature readings on a backlit LCD. Readings can be displayed as raw counts, as equivalent frequencies in Hz or as engineering values in psi/bar and °C/°F (user selectable). The polling rate is configurable between 200ms and 1500ms. Additional information such as transducer serial number and calibration date are also shown on the LCD. Furthermore, the AVA-03 also features user selectable tare and dual pressure options.

The AVA-03 Digital Transducer Tester contains an RS232 interface for accessing readings and calibration coefficents from a PC. This is particularly useful for use in the laboratory or when a transducer needs to be recalibrated. The RS232 interface can also be set up to output data at a regular rate, which can be logged to file using standard terminal software such as Hyperterminal. The resulting ascii file can then be imported into standard spreadsheet software (e.g. Excel) for further analysis.

The AVA-03 Digital Quartzdyne Interface/Tester is a perfect alternative to a Quartzdyne Q-Link or Q-Com device, providing a simple command set and extra functionality through the built-in display and battery operation.
