AVA-06 Analog Quartzdyne Simulator

The Avanti AVA-06 is a low cost 'analog' Quartzdyne Simulator with frequency outputs that facilitates testing of data acquisition systems in the absence of a real transducer. It generates pressure, temperature and reference signals that are compatible with 5V and 3V Quartzdyne transducers. Due to its low cost, the AVA-06 is particularly suited for production testing of downhole boards.

The simulator consists of a small standalone PCB measuring 60x65mm. Pressure and temperature frequencies can be set independently by means of two rotary switches. Constant values or ramps can be selected. Signal coupling (AC/DC or OFF) is configurable through jumper links.

The simulator draws its supply current from the target board, i.e. no external power is required. Current consumption is similar to that of a real transducer.
